Rodney and Denise Steidinger were married in Illinois back in 2000. Having both been raised on farms, each knew the meaning of hard work and the challenges of growing strong crops. Like so many from the Midwest do, in 2006, Rodney and Denise thought they would follow the old timers: head west where the money was and the weather is paradise. Then they realized all the gold had been mined! So Rodney decided to work what he knew best, and that was growing plants. Rodney started working for a landscape company. Soon, Rodney and Denise brought their 2 beautiful daughters, Trinity and Kiley to live in Arizona. Rodney worked in the landscaping trade for another company and Denise took care of the bookkeeping and marketing. Rodney knew he needed a helper, so they thought they would try for a boy one more time. Soon, they were blessed with baby girl Haley and later started a new business.
At Your Service...
In early 2008, the economy suddenly declined and was the first the little family saw of what their parents had talked about many years ago. It was not a Great Depression, but an event that was frighteningly similar. The owner of the company where Rodney worked suddenly left the state, leaving Rodney without a job and a young family to raise. They prayed for wisdom on what to do next. Then they decided to start their own business. Rodney and Denise had a hard time coming up with a name. One of Rodney’s good friends, Jacob, with Rock-N-Earth Landscaping made the suggestion to name it TKHaley. People needed to know that TKHaley Yard Care was a family owned business. T is for Trinity, K for Kiley and the little Haley stole the show with the rest. The two leaves in our logo represent parents Rodney and Denise. One very happy family. One very happy business.
